I believe in honest delivery, and so my addresses are personalized with an infusion of humor, insight, direct talk, stories, and inspiration. Nothing is generic, and I do not mince words.
While teachers are often my main audience (political rallies, Common Core lessons, literacy professional development, keynote addresses), I also address students and community members. But close to my heart are audiences who are interested in stories of the human spirit.
We all have stories to tell, but it is the speaker who makes us realize that humanity crosses cultures, gender, and age that draws us together.
